INSITE supported publication from the team behind the EcoConnect project

INSITE Supported Research from the EcoConnect team appears this month in the Journal of Ecology

The paper, 'Social network analysis as a tool for marine spatial planning: Impacts of decommissioning on connectivity in the North Sea', is available on an open access basis.

Marine spatial planning (MSP), relating to different human activities, provides a framework which facilitates optimal and sustainable use of the marine environment whilst reducing conflict between stakeholders (Stelzenmüller et al., 2013). This study provides insight into the contribution of artificial hard substrate, and the consequence of decommissioning, to the structure and function of marine community connectivity.
